Many
of the hackers in world are always trying to hack your personal data,
passwords, money and more. I don’t know why they do it for, either they
achieve something great stealing property or just for fun. Being on
internet is very risky, we must keep our self and all of our data safe
form all those hackers.
To be secure on largest social networking site like Facebook or Twitter, you must have to follow some tips.
#1 Create a Hard Password:
You must create a harder and stronger
password that can’t be guessed by anyone else. Password length should
be minimum 10 characters with combinations of Special Symbols like @#$%^&, UPPER and lower case alphabets, and including Numbers. Combination of all above may provide you a very good password strength.
#2 Avoid using personal data:
Many of users always use there personal
data as the password because they are easy to remember for you and easy
to hack for hackers. So always avoid using Name, Date of Birth, Place, Mobile Number, Mother or Father name and other personal data which your society and others knows about you.
#3 Never use sharing Computer or Laptops:
It always happen that you
have visited the internet cafe or any public place computer and login to
Facebook or twitter and suddenly the power supply goes off. That means
you didn’t logout your account. In many case it automatically logout
but, some times it happen that your password remains there, stored in
that public PC and get hacked by someone else. So always try to avoid using public computers.
#4 One password One Account:
Always try to maintain one single
password for one Account. Do not use same password for the multiple
accounts. Always keep your password unique and strong for each of your account.
#5 Never share your password to friend:
Always avoid to share your password to your friends and family, cause you don’t know when your friend has turn back and hit you. So take care while doing so.
#6 Do not use “Remember me”:
Always take care that you have won’t allowed the browser to remember your password each time it ask. Unmark the check box, if you found “remember me on this computer” specially while using sharing computers.
#7 Logout each time:
When you have finished using your social site always logout of your account and freshly login again if you want.
#8 Clearing cache and History:
When you use public computer
always remember to clear your history and cache. It might be that your
password have been saved some where even you don’t know so it’s better
to clear all your browsing data.
#9 Use Private Browsing:
Special feature called “Private browsing”
have been added to all the browser like Internet Explorer, Firefox,
Google Chrome where all they data you have browsed and password you have
save don’t get saved. So here no need of clearing History and Cache as
there is no saved data of your browsing.
#10 Don’t Store, Memorize it:
Don’t store your password
any where in your computer or don’t keep it any where in online. Best
way to keep you password safe is to write it in Book or Page rather than
keeping on anywhere in your computer. Many times hacker may even see
your screen what you are writing on it. Or even they can see that you
are reading this post.
