Nokia android X full review and speics

The Nokia X makes up one third of the brand's new X family of Android-powered smartphones. Although they run Google's OS, Nokia has added on its own tile-based interface which looks remarkabley like the the Windows Phone 8 UI found on the likes of the Nokia Lumia 1020 and Nokia Lumia 1520.

The Nokia X+ has added memory and expandable storage while the Nokia XL is a larger handset with a 5-inch display.

Nokia X : Size and build

The design screams Nokia - with the familar choice of bright green, bright red, cyan, yellow, black and white fascias. We liked the palm-sized dimensions (115.5 x 63 x 10.4mm) while the the matt finish of the chassis feels pleasent and comfy to hold.

Nokia X: Features

Interesting, the phone's storage leads to Microsoft's cloud, rather than Google's and you won't have access to the Google Play store, instead you'll be guided towards Nokia's ring-fenced selection of content.

The phone is fairly light on features but we know it has a fairly pedestrian 3MP fixed focus camera on board.

Nokia X: Screen

The 4-inch screen looks relatively small compared to may of its comepetitors, but at least that keeps the size of the handset down. IPS means that viewing angles are pretty decent, although the 800 x 480-pixel  resolution is sloightly dull and uninspiring.

Nokia X: Performance

The Nokia X runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8225 dual core chipset, with a maximum of 1Ghz on the clock and 512MB of memory. The phone we saw lagged slightly when trying to connect to the app store, possibly due to the heavily used Wi-Fi connection at MWC.

Nokia X: Verdict

The Nokia X is a neat little phone with the brand's colourful design taking centre stage. The idea of a Windows-influenced Android skin that uses Microsoft's storage and Nokia's content store is a strange one, with  Nokia seemingly trying to distance itself from Google and Android has much as possible. Stay tuned for a full review.

Micromax A350 Canvas Knight full review and specifications

Following the octa-core brigade, Micromax has launched its next flagship dubbed the Canvas Knight A350, for the Indian market. Just like most Micromax devices, it is a budget device with superior features. For Rs 19,999, the spec sheet of the Canvas Knight could put any sub-Rs 20,000 device to shame. Here’s a quick look at its tech specs.

User Interface – Android 4.2.2
While the hardware appears to be brilliant, the Canvas Knight is disappointing when it comes to the OS running on the device.  The Canvas Knight runs Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, similar to its previous flagship Canvas Turbo. With the nifty specs the phone holds, it appears to be more than capable of running Android 4.4 KitKat. What we don’t understand is what’s stopping Micromax from launching it with 4.3 at the very least, if not KitKat?

One should also expect pre-loaded apps from the company such as M! Security, M! Live, M! Unlock as well as third party vendors like Spuul, Hike, Opera Mini and more. Micromax had also signed a deal with BlackBerry to preload BBM on its Canvas phones. So, you can expect BBM for Android too. One can also expect Micromax’s software gimmickry like ifloat that serves as a quick launcher for calls, messages, browser, settings, etc. from any screen, blow to unlock, popup video, popup browser, and more.  You will also find Truecaller, GetIt, M!Vault pre-installed along with games such as RealSteel WRB, Where’s My Perry and Where’s My Water.
Canvas Knight looks sleek, but too much like the iPhone
Cellular Connectivity – GSM, 3G
The Canvas Knight is a dual SIM smartphone that supports GSM and 3G networks. However, it should be noted that the company has started testing 4G-enabled devices, which are expected to be launched later this year. May be its too early to say, but we could possibly see a 4G variant of the device in the future.

Display – 5-inch SHARP Full HD
Micromax has retained the 5-inch display size seen in the Turbo as well as the full HD 1920 x 1080 resolution, with a pixel count that goes all the way up to 443 ppi. Moreover, it’s the full HD CGS (Continuous Grain Silicon) IPS display built by SHARP, just like its predecessor. This means, we can expect crisp and clear images.

Form-factor– Anodised aluminium body
The official site doesn’t mention the weight or dimensions, but it appears to be pretty slim. In terms of design, it doesn’t follow the Turbo, instead looks like an iPhone. The Canvas Knight gets a brushed metal styling with champagne gold bezels while the rear panel comes with a glass finish. The device is available in three colours – black, white and gold and black and gold.

Wi-Fi
The Canvas Turbo supports Wi-Fi, but so far there has been no mention of the connectivity options. There is no word on dual-band support either or if it supports the ‘ac’ draft either.

Processor – Mediatek Octa-core , 2GB RAM
The Canvas Knight is first smartphone from Micromax to feature an octa-core processor.  It is powered by a MediaTek MT6592T SoC, that clocks in at 2GHz. It also includes an ARM Mali-450 GPU and 2GB of RAM.  The Canvas Knight joins the Gionee Elife E7 Mini, Intex Aqua Octa and the iBerry Auxus Nuclea N2, which also sport octa-core chipsets.

Internal storage – 32GB, no room for expansion
While the Canvas Turbo was available with 16GB onboard storage option, the Knight gets a whopping 32GB built-in storage. It doesn’t offer other online storage support or a memory card slot.  However, 32GB storage could suffice your daily storage needs.

Camera - 16-megapxiel BSI sensor, 8-megapixel front-facing camera
On the camera front, the Knight comes with major improvement. It gets 16-megapxiel sensor on the rear side with support for auto-focus and flash. The rear shooter is paired with OmniVision’s CameraChip sensor and a new generation M8 Largan Lens, allowing 1080p video recording at 30 frames per second. Users can also control the camera with their voice and the OmniVision CameraChip sensors also enable HD burst mode.

The device also gets an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. The company has included its quirky-named “Camerazzi” camera app that adds several features such as 360 Degree Panorama, Cinemagraph and Object Eraser.

Sensors – All the usual suspects
The Canvas Knight won’t disappoint when it comes to sensors. It gets all the usual suspects such as accelerometer, light, gravity, gyroscope, proximity and compass.

GPS
The Canvas Knight comes with support for GPS and A-GPS. Though the official site doesn’t mention, we are hoping it also supports GLONASS.

Battery – Li-Ion 2350 mAh
Coming to the battery, we get a measly 2350 mAh battery. The rated battery life promised is 175 hours of standby time and 7.5 hours of talk time. Given the specifications of the phone, this could be the Achilles heel of the Knight.

The bottom line
The Canvas Knight comes with an incredibly powerful specs sheet. It appears to be one of the best value-for-money Android smartphones under Rs 20,000 with an octa-core processor, 2GB RAM, 16MP rear camera, 8MP front-facing camera and 32GB onboard storage. The only disappointment so far, is the older Android Jelly version that the device runs on and the tiny battery.  While it all sounds good on paper and has the potential to be one of the best budget smartphone by an Indian brand, we will have to wait and see how well the device performs once we get out hands on it.

yota dual screen phone review and specifications

Russian smartphone manufacturer Yota's dual-screen YotaPhone is a valiant attempt at a new breed of smartphone, writes Sophie Curtis
Russian smartphone manufacturer Yota unveiled its dual-screen YotaPhone at a stylish event in Moscow today, promising that “smartphones will never be the same” again. The wonderfully kooky device combines a high-definition LCD display on the front with an e-ink display on the back, giving customers what Yota believes is the best of both worlds.
Apart from the obvious uses of the e-ink display, like reading text without straining your eyes, Yota has developed a number of other interactive applications that take advantage of the low-power screen. For example, the company has worked with ABBYY to adapt its multilingual dictionary Lingovo into a language-learning game, Vedomosti for delivery of newspaper articles in a more readable format, and MapsWithMe for dynamic maps.
These can all be controlled by tapping and swiping a panel under the e-ink display to flick between screens. This takes some getting used to, as the gesture control is less than perfect, but users are likely to appreciate the ability to interact with their second screen, rather than just use it to view static images.
For applications that have not been specially developed for use with the e-ink display, users can find an image they want using the LCD side of the phone, and then swipe two fingers from top to bottom to take a screenshot, which immediately displays on the e-ink screen. This could be useful for anyone needing to quickly check a map for directions or reference a colleague’s contact details ahead of a meeting.
Notifications are also displayed on the e-ink display and remain visible until the user acknowledges them. Yota CEO Vlad Martynov claims that this could help to combat ‘phubbing’ - the act of snubbing someone in a social setting by looking at your phone instead of paying attention to the conversation. While this way of displaying notifications is perhaps more subtle than an alert sound or a flashing light, it is still likely to catch your eye if the phone is on the table beside you.

Other more gimmicky functions of the dual screen include taking photos using the YotaPhone’s 13-Megapixel camera - the e-ink display shows an image of a camera and instructs you to smile - and dynamic location-based wallpapers that display the user’s location, the time and the weather, and can be personalised with pictures and other widgets.
The traditional Android part of the phone is fairly unremarkable. Yota has customised Android Jelly Bean 4.2.2 to use the same swipe and tap gestures as the e-ink display, so you swipe to the right to go to the home screen and to the left to return to the previous screen. Aside from that, it offers a familiar vanilla Android experience.
With dimensions of 133.6x67x9.99mm and a weight of 146g, the YotaPhone sits nicely in the hand and feels fairly solid - it is the first smartphone to use Corning’s Gorilla 3 shaped glass and has a special chassis housing YotaPhone’s six antennas on the outer rim. Although 9.99mm is fairly thick, the e-ink side of the phone curves inwards at the top to only 7.9mm, giving the impression of a thinner device.
While the specs are not top-of-the-range - the processor is only 1.7GHz and the battery 1800mAh - the energy efficiency of the phone partially compensates for this. Martynov claims that only mobile gamers will really notice the difference between this and high-end Android devices from Samsung and HTC.

The 4.3-inch LCD screen is bright and attractive with a resolution of 720x1280, putting it on a par with Motorola’s recently launched Moto G. It also has decent viewing angles.
All in all, the YotaPhone is a valiant first attempt at an entirely new breed of smartphone, from a Russian start-up company that only started developing the device two and a half years ago.
It may take some time for the company to build up an ecosystem of apps that really takes advantages of the dual-screen capabilities - Amazon’s Kindle, for example, would be a useful addition - and the company may need to improve the phone’s gesture control in the next iteration. However, for innovation alone, this device gets full marks.

tips to stop horror dreams (nightmare)

Sometimes the only dreams we remember are the ones we wish we could forget. Nightmares can be instructive, and most psychologists believe that they are a healthy part of life. But if you are plagued by repetitive nightmares and are losing sleep, sometimes changing your daily habits can reduce nightmare frequency. In general, nightmares can be caused by insufficient sleep, poor exercise and diet, and stress.  The tips below all are aimed at cultivating a healthier sleep and dream life.

1. Don’t go to sleep angry or stressed out. Give yourself time to cool down.
2. Regular sleep patterns = better dreams. Including weekends.
3. Don’t eat right before bed. In particular, foods that take longer to digest, like meats and cheeses, can increase nightmares.
4. Reduce alcohol and caffeine consumption.
5. Cultivate gratitude. If this doesn’t come easy, do a “thankfulness” exercise every day in which you list the aspects of your life that you are thankful for.
6. Reduce exposure to violent images in the media, especially in the evenings. Horror movies can cause lingering nightmares for years.
7. Spend time in nature as often as possible, even if this means sitting in a city park for fifteen minutes every day. Many therapists believe that we all suffer from “nature deficiency disorder.”
8. Don’t sleep on your back. This encourages a special kind of nightmare known as sleep paralysis, in which you feel like you are awake and alert while at the same time you  cannot move. Sufferers also feel breathless and/or sense an “unknown presence” in the room.
9. Start a gentle body practice like yoga, walking, or tai chi. In general, moderate exercise increases the quality of sleep.
10. If you have repetitive nightmares, role-play how you will face your nightmare attackers next time.
11. Keep a dream journal. Often writing it out can dispel a lot of the powerful emotionality.
12. Join a dream-sharing group. Many larger cities have them. If not, start your own.
13. Give yourself some self-love and acceptance. Easy to suggest, but hard to do. I use journaling to remind myself that I am loved. Affirmations — while they can seem cheesy at first — are effective as well. My backlog of journals is essentially a history of pep-talks I’ve given myself over the years… and it still works.

samsung latest galaxy s5 mobile

Samsung has shared a new unPacked trailer which confirms that the company will unveil the next Galaxy flagship smartphone, which will almost definitely be called the Galaxy S5, at MWC 2014.The official unPacked trailer consists of a series of images which are accompanied by taglines in the middle. Notably, the official trailer seems to confirm some of the features that have been rumoured for the Samsung Galaxy S5 for some time now.
Some of the taglines on the images tipping the expected features include 'wet5', which we expect indicate about waterproof and dustproof features of the Galaxy S5. A recent report emerging from Korea claimed that the Galaxy S5 would be a dustproof and waterproof device. Also, a recent teaser of the Galaxy S5 on the German website of UK-headquartered mobile carrier, O2 showed a smartphone making a splash in the water.
Further, the taglines like 'dad5' and 'family5' suggest that the Galaxy S5 might include some new features like kid and family mode.

The trailer also shows 'speed5' tagline which could be hinting at the company's next-generation of Exynos chipsets. It's worth mentioning that the South Korean major teased its Exynos Infinity chipsets, which could be company's first 64-bit mobile chip.
Other taglines like 'focus5' and 'moment5', hint about an improved camera sensor on the Galaxy S5, and 'create5', we assume point to the presence of a stylus in the yet-to-be-launched device. It's worth pointing out that the 'selfie5' tagline seems like Samsung might include an improved front-facing camera on the front.
The unPacked trailer has been posted by official global channel of Samsung Mobile on YouTube and is a 36-second video.
Unfortunately, the official trailer does not include any taglines about the fingerprint scanner that is widely expected on the Galaxy S5.
For those unaware, Samsung has already sent media invites for its "unPacked 5" event, where the company will be unveiling the next Galaxy flagship smartphone at the sidelines of MWC 2014 on February 24 in Barcelona.

We expect, based on previous reports, that the Samsung Galaxy S5 will be launched alongside a new tablet series, believed to be dubbed Galaxy Tab 4, and the long-rumoured Galaxy Gear successor, named Galaxy Gear 2 at the 24 February 2014 event in Barcelona, at the sidelines of the MWC 2014.

really working tips to grow hight naturally

How many of us have this desire to be tall ? If we are of average or short height, at one point of time or the other, we really feel , “how nice it would have been if we were slightly taller”!!!
Height plays an important role in determining the overall look and personality of an individual. That does not mean that we are undermining the capabilities of a short height person, though short statured people do suffer from lack of confidence and also face difficulties in certain aspects of their lives due to their height. There is no doubt about the fact some of us are conscious about our short height. Usually, a short height child often becomes the victim of bullying by his or her friends and seniors, he or she might not get a chance to join the school basketball team, might also miss being nominated as the class monitor and so on.  It so happens, that even a well-talented or a  good looking person is likely to get ignored if he or she is below the normal height. We cannot deny the fact that tall people often steal the limelight in many occasions. There are certain professions like as modelling, acting, which demand that you are tall.
In this article, let us discuss about the factors which affect our height and how we can increase our height naturally.

Factors Affecting Height

Well, we all feel that to become tall is not in our hands. But this is partially true. There are many factors like as genetic and non-genetic factors, which play a major role in determining our height.  There is also a hormone in our body by the name of Human Growth Hormone [HGH] which regulates our height. HGH is given out in our body by pituitary gland and is needed for the growth of long bones and cartilages.

Genetic Factors:

The various genes present in the human body affect the height. If both the parents are short, we assume that their children will be short too. But this is not always true. Tall parents can have short children and vice versa. Actually, the height of all members in the family from both sides should be considered. If all of them are short, then it implies that next generations are likely to have short stature. Genetically they will be of short height and you cannot change the genetic factor.

Non Genetic Factors:

Several non-genetic factors also influence our height. Proper diet, nutrition, healthy lifestyle, proper sleep also play a major role in increasing our height in the growing stage. Being short can be associated with inadequate nutrition, lack of physical activity, incorrect posture, etc. Non-genetic factors can be controlled to a certain extent by following an overall healthy lifestyle from childhood.
Presenting below some non-genetic factors which may affect height:
•    Smoking during pregnancy
•    Ineffective Prenatal and Post natal care
•    Ill health during childhood and adolescence
•    Low birth weight
•    Mental condition during childhood and adolescence

How to Increase Height Naturally?

The good news is that we can increase our height naturally. It is to be noted that about 20% or more of our body height depends upon external factors like our environment, activities and diet. If we follow certain basic rules in our daily lives, we can increase our height in a natural way.
Natural ways to increase height are mentioned below:

Proper Sleep:

Studies have shown that when we take rest or sleep, our body grows and regenerates tissues. Proper sleep and rest are absolutely very necessary in a growing body. It is believed that Human Growth Hormone (HGH) is produced naturally during the time when we have a sound, deep and slow wave sleep. As a rule, growing children and teenagers must have at least 8 to 11 hours of proper sleep every night so that they can reach their maximum height. It is advisable that you should take a warm bath before going to bed so that you have a sound sleep.

Exercises for Increasing Your Height:

Another factor to increase height naturally is to be physically fit and active as a child. This can be attained by regular exercises and sports activities. When you are physically active, the body requires more healthy nutrients. Regular intake of nutrients boosts your nutrition and consequently, results in proper growth. Swimming, aerobics, football, basketball, tennis, cricket, or stretching exercises are a good way to keep our body growing and physically active. Active involvement of our muscles not only improves our growth prospects but also helps in detoxifying our body through sweating.
Some popular exercises to increase your height are as follows:
  • Hanging on the rod :  You spend the majority of your day in an upright, vertical position. One of the biggest hurdles in the path of growing tall is gravity, which compresses your spine, joints, squeezes the cartilage and makes you shorter. However, you can get rid of this obstacle through a simple hanging exercise, which has become a quite popular method to increase a person’s height by one to two inches. The reason being it lets the weight of your lower torso stretches your spine. Take a horizontal bar or rod and place it high enough so that you can hang on it by holding and let your body fully extend.  If your body cannot fully extend, then you can bend your knees slightly until you hang freely. Try to hang for at least 20 seconds and repeat.  You should also repeat this exercise a minimum of three times.
  • Dry Land Swim:  This exercise is popularly known as the Alternate Leg Kick and focuses on your lower back. Lay down flat on your stomach. Your body should be fully extended. Put your arms straight out in front of you. Your palms should face the floor.  Raise your left arm higher than your right arm and lift your right leg off the ground as far as you can, with your other leg straight on the ground. Remain in that position for 4-5 seconds. Then raise your other arm and leg and repeat the process.
  • Pelvic Shift : This is a common exercise and favorite among gym instructors. It is simple and you feel a whole lot of stretching up and down your spine and in your hips while doing this exercise. Lie on your back with your shoulders and arms placed firmly on the ground.  Bend your knees and bring your feet as much as possible near to your buttock.  Next, arch your back so that your pelvis thrusts upward. Remain in this position for about 20 seconds and then gradually increase it to 30 seconds.

Yoga for Increasing Your Height:

Research studies have also shown that yoga and proper breathing techniques can play a fantastic role in increasing your height naturally. It is said that when we inhale deeply during yoga exercises, we release the stress that causes tension in your back muscles, which in turn removes the obstacle to enhance growth of the body. There are also a number of yoga postures which are particularly helpful in increasing your height. These yoga poses for keeping your body upright and increasing height are as follows:
  • Surya Namaskar :  This is an age-old yoga exercise with 12 different postures and performed in a chronological manner.
  • Trikonasana : Trikonasana helps in improving your balance. This yoga exercise gives you a good posture. Also known as triangle pose.
  • Talasana : Talasna strengthens your arms, legs and spines.  Keeps your body smooth. Helpful height gain.
  • Sukhasana : This is supposed to be the central position from which the other yoga postures started. You control your breathing and tone your lower back and hips by doing this asana.
  • Adhomukha Savasana : Also known as the downward facing dog. This asana increases the blood flow to your face and neck.

Super Foods & Balanced Diet for Increasing Height

You can try all kinds of exercises and yoga but nothing is possible unless you take a complete balanced diet which gives you the essential nutrients required by the body for proper growth. Some essential nutrients good for the physical development of your body are as follows:
  • Vitamin D and proteins:  Boost growth hormones and assist in proper growth of teeth and bones.  Consume more lean meat, cheese, legumes, tofu, egg white.
  • Zinc: Zinc consumption is good for children as it prevents their stunted growth. Foods rich in zinc are chocolate, eggs, oysters, asparagus,  peanuts etc.
  • Calcium: Consume more of dairy products and green vegetables. This helps in the development of bones.
  • Minerals, carbohydrates and vitamins: For a balanced diet, don’t forget to include milk, eggs, soybean, oatmeal, fruits and vegetables in your diet.

Avoid Growth Stunting Factors

It is extremely dangerous to take drugs and alcohol at a young age. Consuming these products can lead to stunted growth and malnutrition. Also reduce the intake of caffeine. Avoid taking steroids.  They obstruct bone growth in young children, thereby affecting their height.

Strong Immune System

Certain childhood diseases can lead to stunted growth. These can be prevented by immunization at regular intervals and taking plenty of vitamin C. Consume citrus fruits like orange, grapefruit and lemon. You can keep your immune system strong by eating whole and fresh foods, legumes, whole grains, foods rich in antioxidants and omega-3 fatty acids. Also avoid consuming processed and hydrogenated foods. This will help you to maintain a healthy immune system.
So getting taller is not impossible. Start your bit from today itself. Keep yourself healthy, have a healthy diet, have a proper sleep, do exercises and yoga and keep your body growing!

tips and remides to stop farting problem

Farting or Flatulence is a big problem for everyone, the one who farts and the ones who stay close to him or her at the time of farting. Every one of us has faced this situation in our lives when we had farted and created an embarrassing situation for everyone around. Excessive farting can be a big problem for anyone of us, affecting our working lives, social time and even personal relationships.  There is no doubt that people don’t like being around with any person that farts too much. Farting can be very very unpleasant, especially when the fart has a sound and a very bad odour.
Let us find some easy ways to control or stop farting. But before that, we should also know what exactly is flatulence, what causes farts, why farts smell bad, and farting problems.

Flatulence or Fart :  What exactly it is?

When we eat food, our food goes into the stomach through the food pipe and mouth. The stomach breaks down the food. It then moves to the small intestine, which further breaks down the food. Complete digestion takes place in the small intestine. Whatever is left, the unbroken or undigested food particles move into the large intestine and then moves out of the body as liquid or solid waste through our anus. Here, in this entire digestive process, flatulence or fart is the gas that is formed when the solid waste is separated in the large intestine. Certain food particles that break down create gas as a byproduct, which after a certain point of time expels out from the body as farts.

What Causes Farts?

Some of the causes of farts are as follows:
  • Build of gas after eating : There are certain foods which might negatively act with your intestinal bacteria. The result is a buildup of gas, which can only escape through anus. Most of these food items are spices, cabbage, potatoes, bread, beans, meat and dairy products.
  • Intolerant to lactose : This is for those people who are intolerant to lactose. The lactose ferments in your stomach and cause the gas to build up.
  • Bacteria in colon : When there is too much bacteria in your colon, the bacteria breaks down the food and this leads to intestinal gas to build up.
  • Swallowing air :  This is possible when you chew gums, or drink carbonated fluids a lot.
  • Smoking :  Smoking is another cause of farting. You take in more air into your body when you smoke. The excess inhaled air gets trapped in your esophagus or stomach. When too much gas builds up in your intestines, it comes out through farting.
  • Medicines intake :  When you consume certain medicines on a regular basis, this can also cause fart because of bacterial overgrowth.
  • Poor digestive system : Doctors have indicated that people who suffer from poor digestive system or  people who do not eat healthy diet tend to suffer from the problem of farts.

Why Farts Smell Bad?

All farts do not smell bad. Usually flatulence is made of odorless gases like nitrogen, hydrogen, carbon dioxide, and methane. Many times when you  fart, there won’t be any smell as your body expels odorless gases.
However, in certain cases, your farts can be very very smelly. Why? Flatulence takes place when there is formation of gases,  like carbon dioxide and nitrogen in the stomach, which lead to a swelling and bloating in the abdominal area and these are then eliminated from the body. But when your fart gets mixed up with other gases in the stomach like as hydrogen sulfide and mercaptans and with certain pungent substances like sulfur, indole and skatole, the farts expelled from the body emit a very bad smell. Usually smelly farts are expelled when we consume foods that contain a lot of sulfur like eggs, meat, cheese and vegetables such as broccoli and cabbage.

Farting problem :  Do we need to worry?

Farting problem is a common problem, faced by many and there is nothing to worry about it much. It is a normal human condition that can be prevented or controlled. But in case of excessive smelly farting with additional symptoms, then it is necessary to consult a doctor. Some troublesome symptoms of farting, which require proper medication are as follows:
  • Flatulence that occurs very frequently, often involuntarily
  • A lot of wind is released when flatulence occurs
  • Consistently of foul-smell
  • Cramps in and within the abdomen
  • Bloated and knotted sensation in the abdomen

How to Control Your Farts ?

Now that we have got to know what causes farts, let us also find out how we can control our farts. Remember one thing, we cannot stop farting but we can prevent it.
  • Avoid Consuming Too Many Sugars:  You should reduce the intake of sugar or avoid taking it as sugar breaks down in your gut more quickly, which means more gas is release when the food is digested. This also includes fructose, lactose, and sorbitol.
  • Reduce Carbonation: Consuming carbonated drinks, soda, beer and others  will cause your intestines to be filled with more air than they should be. If you can reduce carbonated beverages, you will find your farting problem greatly reduced.
  • Reduce intake of starches:  Of all types of grains, Rice is one of the better starches which is recommended to be eaten  if you have gas problems. Rice grain is very easy to digest.  Other grains like wheat, potato, noodles  are  very hard on your intestines. So it is better to avoid taking starch when you have farting problem as starches cause the release of intestinal gas.
  • Quit Chewing Gum and Smoking: When you chew gum, you swallow a lot of air, which cause farts. Similarly, when you smoke, you consume more air. So if you have farting problem, then give up smoking and chewing gum if you want to get rid of the problem.
  • Improve your digestion: Maintain a healthy balance diet, with the right amounts of proteins, vitamins, calcium, minerals other nutrients. This will definitely lead to proper digestion of food and help you to reduce the farting problem.

Home Remedies to Stop Farting

•    Cook your vegetables thoroughly. The digestive system finds it difficult to break down raw, uncooked food.
•    Begin your day with fruits and some milk to maintain the alkalinity in the stomach.
•    Eating meals at proper mealtimes, maintaining a regular interval, is helpful.
•    Herbal tea consumption is also good. You can prepare a tea with equal parts of peppermint, chamomile and balm. Add  a teaspoon of this herbal mixture to half a cup of boiling water.  This preparation should be consumed in mouthful doses.
•    Increase your intake of water. The more your drink, the less you fart. Drinking water flushes out the odor-causing toxins from the body.
•    Drink warm water with lime juice before every meal. This can reduce gas problems.
•    Your bowl movements should be regular. Controlling or delaying a bowel movement is bad.
•    Keep calm and stress free. Tension can cause you to swallow air
•    Exercise regularly

How to stop farting in your sleep?

You can try these easy solutions if you have the problem of farting while sleeping.
•    Wear something tight while sleeping: If you wear tight clothes, it will make less noise when you fart.
•    Keep a pillow between your legs. The passing air cannot come out freely.
•    Don’t drink carbonated drinks before bed.
•    Lay on your side or back. Avoid lying on your stomach. Because if you do so, you press your stomach more and your butt is up in the air.

Some Foods that Cause Farting

As a matter of fact, we cannot advise you to stop taking these but yes, you can reduce their consumption if you really want to get rid of your farting problem.
•    Vegetables :  Artichokes, asparagus, cabbage, cauliflower, cucumbers, broccoli, brussels sprouts, onions, peas, radishes, green peppers
•    Fruits : Apricots, peaches, pears, bananas, melons, prunes, and raw apples
•    Eggs
•    Milk and other dairy products
•    Fried foods

new nvidia shield gaming android gadget

NVIDIA is doing something different with Tegra 4, very different. To bring up its silicon, each vendor usually makes a reference design phone and tablet with a selection of approved components, packages a BSP (Board Support Package), and ships that and some engineers to customers. Rather than never letting the reference design see the light of day, this time NVIDIA also made it into something they can sell directly, a portable gaming device called Shield.
It’s no secret that Tegra 4 isn’t exactly the success that NVIDIA probably hoped it would be. While the initial word was that Tegra 4 had an obvious set of design wins following momentum from products which shipped in 2012 through 2013 with Tegra 3, but it’s obvious that Shield will now effectively serve as NVIDIA’s launch vehicle for Tegra 4.
Shield is an aspirational product and not an easy one to nail down – enthusiasts are picky about controllers, Android gaming is still largely an unknown, and the question remains what presence handheld gaming consoles will have in the future. To answer all those questions NVIDIA sent over Shield, a Falcon Northwest Tiki with GTX 760 inside, and Parrot AR Drone 2.0 for us to review. Read on for the full story.

Introduction and Hardware

With Shield, NVIDIA gave us a rare glimpse into some of the stages of design. When Anand and I saw Shield at CES, it was more of a prototype than real, reviewable sample of the portable gaming device. The analog sticks weren’t weighted right, the plastic felt somewhat creaky, the triggers and bumpers felt hollow and strange, and the D-Pad worked, but not amazingly so. It was exactly what you’d expect from a prototype, and as Shield inched closer to final release the hardware got successively better and better, until the final unit dropped on our doorstep.
The hardware that is the shipping Shield today is a world better, it’s everything I was hoping Shield would end up being in terms of a controller, with the right balance and in-hand feel.
There’s so much scrutiny on the fit and finish of mobile devices these days, for NVIDIA to build a mobile device and gaming controller at the same time invites a whole new level of scrutiny, potential issues, and things to get tuned just right. I’ve purchased a few high end gaming controllers in my day (like a kitted out $125 Scuf FPS Competition Xbox 360 controller that I love), but hesitate to review them because of just how much there is to talk about, and how much of it comes down ultimately to taste.
Anand and I gave feedback to NVIDIA early on that they should arguably use the Xbox 360 controller as something of a baseline for tuning their controller components. With the Shield what we get is nearly exactly that. The analog trigger resistance, bumper clickiness, and analog stick friction feel remarkably like the 360, perhaps just a tad less. I consider the 360 controller out of the box nearly perfect, but some of that is adaption and familiarity versus being some global maxima for perfection. At the same time, if the PS3 controller is your bar, you’re probably going to have a bad time initially with Shield until you’ve adapted. Where Shield does borrow somewhat from the PS3 controller is the analog stick positioning, which is bottom center, instead of opposed top left and bottom right. One of my initial complaints was that my thumbs can collide with each other when left stick is at limits to the right, and right stick is at limits to the left (a complaint about the PS3 I have as well). NVIDIA seems to have spaced these a bit more and my thumbs aren’t quite hitting as much as they were previously.
Since the display has to close flat on the control surface, some of the shape is gated by the limitation that you can’t have the analog sticks or buttons ramming through the display, so they’re sunken down a bit. The rest of the interface (A/B/X/Y, NVIDIA, Back, Home, Start, Volume and D-Pad) rest roughly in the same plane. The spring preload on the buttons is great, though I wish they were maybe a touch less mushy for A/B/X/Y, and although I’m not much of a platform gamer, the D-Pad feels so much better now than it did before.
The shape of Shield fits in my hands really, really well. The bottom is a grippy, rubberized material that grabs the hands well and plants the Shield solidly on any surface you put it down on. The interesting shape on the back side, means I can rest my middle finger in a sort of folded position along the inside (something you can’t do with most wireless controllers) and it feels great. I have no issues with the mass of Shield fatiguing my hands or feeling awkward since it’s so well balanced and ergonomically shaped down there.
On the front of Shield is a green-tinted intake and grille for the device’s active cooling. When I first heard that Shield had active cooling I was a bit shocked, but it turns out to be completely unobtrusive in actual use.
With Shield open you can see the 5-inch 720p display surrounded by a somewhat large bezel. This remains my only complaint about Shield – I wish it had a slightly larger display that took up more of the fold-out area. Below that are stereo speakers that go loud (I love that stereo is now a feature showing up in more devices) and in the very middle is a microphone.
On the back of Shield are its I/O ports, which are microUSB 2.0, mini-HDMI, headphone jack, and microSDXC. There’s also the exhaust grille for Shield’s active cooler back here. Above the microUSB 2.0 port is a small charge status LED which is amber while plugged in and charging, and green when fully charged. I remain confused by the choice of mini-HDMI, when smartphones and tablets have universally adopted the microHDMI format plug, and I’m buried in those cables compared to a relative scarcity of mini-HDMI ones, though NVIDIA has shipped mini-HDMI GPUs before.
On the top of Shield is, well, a small shield, which NVIDIA calls a tag. This snaps onto the top and adds a bit of a customization option, it’s held in place with magnets. Out of the box the tag is a metallic silver material. It looks great but I’ve already managed to put a few hairline scratches into it, which leads me to my next point.
NVIDIA has a carrying case option available, but it really needs to give some kind of carrying case away with Shield. Although Shield feels really well constructed, right down to even the hinge mechanism, I’d like a better way to protect it, especially while traveling. I know I’m going to put more scratches into the silver tag while traveling with Shield in my bag, for example.
